Why customers choose Money Mangalam
What customers say
The team reviewed our device concept, explained provisional filing clearly and helped us prepare the technical disclosure before speaking to investors.
Money Mangalam gave structured guidance on invention notes, drawings, inventor details and examination timeline for our research-based filing.
Their patentability discussion helped us separate the technical improvement from normal business features before drafting coordination.
The prior-art search direction and confidentiality warning were very useful before we shared the prototype outside our team.
We received a practical checklist for drawings, working examples and claim-focused description. The process felt organised from day one.
They explained what parts of our technical workflow may need careful patentability review and what should not be treated like a simple idea filing.
Money Mangalam helped us map the invention, prototype data and industrial application points before filing strategy was finalised.
The examination roadmap was explained in a professional way, including publication, examination request, FER and renewal responsibilities.
The support was specific to our technical invention and not a generic registration checklist. That made the filing preparation much smoother.

Patent Registration FAQs
What is Patent Registration?
Patent Registration is the process of filing an application to protect an invention. A patent gives the patentee exclusive rights after grant, subject to the Patents Act, rules, examination and renewal requirements.
What can be patented in India?
An invention should generally be new, involve an inventive step and be capable of industrial application. It should also not fall under non-patentable subject matter under the Patents Act.
What is provisional patent application?
A provisional application is useful when the invention is still being refined. It helps secure an early filing date, but a complete specification must be filed within the prescribed time.
What is complete specification?
Complete specification describes the invention in full detail, including title, field, background, objectives, detailed description, drawings where needed, claims, abstract and best method of performing the invention.
Which forms are commonly used for patent filing?
Common forms include Form 1 for application for grant of patent, Form 2 for provisional or complete specification, Form 3 for statement and undertaking, Form 5 for declaration as to inventorship and Form 18 for request for examination.
What is patent search?
Patent search is a prior-art review to check whether similar inventions already exist. It helps understand novelty risk before spending on drafting and filing.
Is patent granted immediately after filing?
No. Filing gives an application number and filing date. The application normally goes through publication, request for examination, examination report, reply, hearing if required and then grant or refusal.
When is a patent application published?
A patent application is generally published after 18 months from the filing or priority date. Early publication can be requested using the prescribed route.
What is request for examination?
A patent application is examined only after filing a request for examination within the prescribed time. Form 18 is used for ordinary examination request, while eligible applicants may use Form 18A for expedited examination.
How long is a patent valid in India?
A granted patent is generally valid for 20 years from the date of filing, subject to timely payment of renewal fees and compliance requirements.
Can I disclose my invention before patent filing?
Public disclosure before filing can harm novelty. It is safer to file before pitching publicly, publishing, selling, launching, presenting or sharing technical details without confidentiality protection.
Do you provide Patent Registration support across India?
Yes. Money Mangalam provides expert-assisted patent filing support across India, including invention review, patent search direction, drafting coordination, filing guidance, examination roadmap and renewal support.
